There’s no availability at Mercedes.” Brundle highlighted the difficulty for Sainz to secure a better drive without returning to teams where, for various reasons, he wasn’t offered a continued contract.
Brundle expressed sympathy for Sainz, acknowledging that while he might not possess the ‘absolute talent’ of a Max Verstappen, he is a formidable and relentless fighter, much like his father.
